There are many withdrawals from the Femunlopet 2010. This is quite normal. According to Jean Philippe Pointer’s friends there was very deep snow and winds. The two Spaniards competing: Salva Luque withdrew half way through the race (at the Sovollen checkpoint) and Javier Marina at 95km from the finish line (at the Tolga checkpoint)

The winners were Sigrid Ekran in the 600km and Svein Sodahl Kvam in the 400km. Daniel Juillaguet managed to complete the 400km again, this time in 26th position of 77. And Jean Philippe Pointer managed to complete the race for the first time after two aborted attempts. He finished in 21st position in the 600km. CONGRATULATIONS TO BOTH.
