Marçal Rocias, has been preparing for Finnmarkslopet 2010 since last summer with great keenness and enthusiasm. But during the autumn, problems and different offers have redirected his possibilities to other challenges. Will the FL be a challenge for another year? We hope so. This year he has lent us his “girls”: Negu and Narvik, 2 year old Norwegian dogs, to help us make up a competitive team this year.

If you go to La Molina, be sure to visit them as you will be well taken care of. Last December Marçal was offered the opportunity to do trips and introductions to mushing at the Andorran ski centre of Grau Roig (Tel. +34973622035 e-mail: activitats at rocroi.com) and he has been doing so since the end of December. Any of you who have never dared to try but are fascinated by the world of mushing should go to Grau Roig ask for Marçal! He’s very attentive and efficient.  You will have a good time!

Marçal has been a mountaineer all his life and has lots of experience skiing, rock-climbing and caving and is beginning to make a name for himself as a musher.  Kobalaq has seen how he trains and treats his dogs and how he meets his challenges.  He is persistent and untiring in his efforts.  Good luck Marçal!  We hope to see you at FL 2011.
